By accessing or using TukRentals.com and our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

TukRentals.com provides self-drive tuk tuk rental services across Sri Lanka, including vehicle hire, optional driver services, travel advice, and route planning.

• A booking is confirmed only upon receipt of the required deposit or full payment.
• All prices are quoted in USD or LKR and subject to change without notice.
• Full payment must be settled before vehicle collection unless otherwise agreed in writing.

• Renters must hold a valid driving licence valid in Sri Lanka.
• Minimum age requirement is 21 years.
• The renter accepts full responsibility for safe operation of the vehicle.

• Vehicles must not be driven off designated routes without prior approval.
• Smoking, alcohol consumption, and sub-letting of the vehicle are strictly prohibited.
• Any damage caused during the rental period is the renter's financial responsibility.

TukRentals.com is not liable for personal injury, loss, or damages beyond what is covered under our insurance policy.

These terms are governed by the laws of Sri Lanka. Disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Sri Lanka.

These Rental Terms govern the hire of tuk tuk vehicles from TukRentals.com. By collecting a vehicle you confirm you have read, understood, and accepted these terms in full.

• Minimum age: 21 years. Maximum age: 70 years (insurance restriction).
• A valid driving licence (motorcycle or equivalent) must be presented at collection.
• An International Driving Permit (IDP) is required for all non-Sri Lankan licence holders.
• The named driver on the booking must be the primary operator of the vehicle.

• A refundable security deposit is required at collection (amount confirmed at booking).
• The deposit is held against damage, traffic fines, fuel shortfalls, or late returns.
• Returned within 5 working days of vehicle return, subject to inspection.

• Vehicles are provided with a full tank and must be returned with a full tank.
• Failure to return full will result in a fuel surcharge deducted from the deposit.

• Daily mileage limits apply as stated in your rental agreement.
• Excess mileage is charged at the rate confirmed at booking.
• Vehicles must not be taken outside Sri Lanka under any circumstances.

• The renter is responsible for any damage to the vehicle during the rental period.
• All accidents must be reported to TukRentals.com and local police within 24 hours.
• Do not admit liability or make payments to third parties without our prior written consent.

• Off-road driving, racing, or use on unsealed roads not agreed in advance.
• Carrying more passengers than the vehicle is rated for.
• Transporting illegal goods or substances.
• Sub-letting or lending the vehicle to any other person.

24/7 roadside assistance is included. In the event of a breakdown, contact our hotline immediately. We will arrange repairs or a replacement vehicle at no charge for mechanical faults not caused by the renter.

• Cancellations 7+ days before pick-up: full deposit refund.
• Cancellations 3–6 days before pick-up: 50% deposit refunded.
• Cancellations under 72 hours before pick-up: no refund.
• Early returns are non-refundable for unused days.

A late return fee equal to one additional day's rental rate applies for each commenced hour over the agreed return time.

We want every TukRentals.com experience to be outstanding. If something goes wrong, this policy sets out how we handle refund requests fairly and transparently.

• Cancel 7+ days before pick-up: 100% deposit refunded.
• Cancel 3–6 days before pick-up: 50% deposit refunded.
• Cancel under 72 hours before pick-up: No refund.
• No-show on collection day: No refund.

• Fully refundable provided the vehicle is returned on time, undamaged, and with a full tank.
• Deductions made for damage, fuel shortfalls, traffic fines, or late return fees.
• Processed within 5 working days of vehicle inspection.

If TukRentals.com cannot provide the booked vehicle due to reasons within our control (e.g. mechanical failure with no replacement available), a full refund of all payments will be issued within 5 working days.

In the event of natural disasters, government travel restrictions, or other circumstances beyond our control, we will offer a booking credit valid for 12 months. Cash refunds in such cases are at our discretion.

No refund is payable for unused rental days if you choose to return the vehicle before the agreed end date.

• Pre-paid add-ons (GPS, helmets, travel SIM, etc.) are non-refundable once the rental period has commenced.
• Unused add-ons cancelled before pick-up are fully refundable.
